Did you sat Schulte? As in Schulte Ford? Well I’ll be an Uncle’s Monkey! Because I bought a Ford Falcon from that shiester! Salesman showed me how big the trunk was. That was where the “bait” was. There before my eyes were 2 snow tires! He said Bill doesn’t know they were in there. He said if I buy the car, he would let me have them, free of charge. Now that was a great used car salesman. That was the time before “RADICAL” tires as Wengert called them.. Damn straight man I wanted them there tires. So I bought that piece of shit. Was working Marley when Wengert reported to dispatch that there.was “ice and frozen water” on the Marley Creek Bridge. He was about to blow a gasket. I said “I’ll handle this Sarge.” Radio start a sand truck. I put out a slew of flares. Lit that bridge up like a damn Christmas Tree. We were the only two cars out on the road that night.
Sometimes Baltimore City showed up here. Now we need ICE up here. I can’t understand anyone around here. John and Walt, I found the telephone pole you cuffed Ayers to. Yep, it’s still there. It’s a street light now. Sadie, Steve and Charlie are gone. All quiet on the Northern Front now. Ho-hum. Wait…. I hear a damn dirt bike flying up the road. Crap! Just heard on tv. Hurricane Erin is forming in the Atlantic. The hurricane of the early 70’s had us standing at 648 and Belle Grove Roads. Everything north of there was completely underwater. After 4 floods, Snyder’s restaurant abandoned that place. It is till standing. Rotting away.
