The following is a summary of the Cost of Living Adjustments (COLAs) effective on July 1, 2025. For additional information on how the COLAs are calculated, please see the “Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) Information” tab above.

Please remember that your actual increase may vary depending on when you retired and when you accrued your retirement benefits.



Police and Fire Plans:
The COLA for benefits accrued prior to 2/1/1997 is 2.82% for those who retired after June 1, 2022, and 4.0% for those who retired on or before June 1, 2022.

For benefits accrued on or after 2/1/1997, the COLA is 1.4%.

Detention Officers and Deputy Sheriffs Plan:
The COLA for benefits accrued prior to 2/1/1997 is 2.4%.

For benefits accrued on or after 2/1/1997, the COLA is 1.4%.

Employees Plan:
The COLA for benefits accrued prior to 2/1/1997 is 2.4%.

For benefits accrued on or after 2/1/1997, the COLA is 1.4%.
