Amen Darryl. We had this discussion a year or so ago. When I came out of the academy in 76 my gun belt had a radio holder (real poleece carried it in their back pocket) cuffs.mace, night stick holder and holster of course. I was all of 140lbs and as my fine training officer Larry Howard would attest there was no space between any thing on my belt. Then I`d see guys like Smokey Chaney with a holster on one side and cuffs on the other. I guess it was like telling the bad guys to choose between one or the other. You guys that worked the early 70s and before won`t be forgotten.
