I had my prescriptions moved to the Severna Park location after they transferred John McAndrews wife from the Pasadena store.
My endocrinologist is moving me to a new diabetic drug that promotes and is proven effective for weight loss for diabetics. I am taking a shot each week at the rate of 7.5 mg. Well my prescription has been there since November 14, 2022 and the app says that it's on back order. I used to take 5.0mg so I requested it be refilled....no problem, it's available and will be here tomorrow. I called and inquired about why they are sitting on the 7.5 mg and have not reached out to my doctor.....crickets from Alicia the pharmacist, te phone was dead silence and she kept changing the subject.I asked if 2.5 mg is offered. Told it would take quite some time to see and put me on hold. I checked it and it is made in 2.5mg doses in seconds. 10 minutes went by and she finally came back....it's on back order also.
Again I inquired why my doctor was not notified about the issue and again she changed the subject. I put in a call to the county and am awaiting a call back but wanted to get anyone and everyones opinion of CVS and see if anyone else has had issues with availability of their much needed drugs.
