Public Safety Officer Property Tax Credit (Anne Arundel Co, Only) FY2028 Deadline April 1, 2027
This application must be filed every year (for twenty years maximum). This new year will be for tax year beginning July 1, 2027 through June 30, 2028. The application MUST be received on or before April 1, 2027.

NOTE: The Anne Arundel County Tax Credit office will consider any application submitted after the April 1st deadline as an application for the following tax year. For instance, if an application was received on April 2nd 2027, we would hold it and consider it for the FY 2029 tax year even though it was submitted on the FY 2028 form.

Anyone in need of a replacement ID or a replacement departmentally issued retirement badge can email their information to the following:

NEW FOR LEOSA QUALIFICATIONS in 2027 (Still in development so watch for additional updates)
For 2027 the department will NOT conduct qualifications every month.
We will conduct them in the Spring (March, April, and May) and the Fall (September, October, and November).
NOTE: Actual 2027 range dates will be available in mid-November 2026 and will be posted here.
There will be three (3) sessions on each of those days: 16:00, 17:00, and 18:00. There will be a maximum of 20 retirees per session.
DO-NOT show up more than 30 minutes before your session. We want all the recruits and in-service officers gone before a mass of other vehicles enters the academy grounds.
If your application is not filled out in it's entirety, it will be rejected!!

(NOTE) The only time you will get an email from an academy staff member is if you do not get your dates and time selected.
Beginning in 2027, electronic ears are required on the range for everyone. It is for safety reasons. All shooters must be able to clearly hear instructions from the range line instructors.
The 250 Board Administrator will be posting links to vendors that carry approved ear protection in the near future.
