Dear exhibitors and visitors of the Kassel Meeting, dear readers,

As organizers, we would like to thank you for attending the 2026 Collectors’ Meeting and for the many positive responses we have received since then. Events like this can only take place thanks to the work of our manufacturers and the enthusiasm of collectors. Kassel helps bring the community closer together, creates opportunities for new connections, and ensures that interest in our models continues well into the future.

We look back with great satisfaction on this year’s meeting. A total of 62 different exhibitors across 115 tables welcomed more than 200 visitors. The origins of our guests were almost as diverse as the range of models on display: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, France, Greece, Italy, the United States, the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Spain were all represented. Quite an impressive spectrum!

Equally impressive were this year’s Kassel special edition models, kindly sponsored by Risawoleska. Burkhard and Margit Schütt produced and lovingly packaged hundreds of highly detailed pilot boat models in no fewer than eight different Nelson-class variants. Our heartfelt thanks for these extraordinary efforts!

We will carefully review your many comments regarding this year’s hotel selection and take them into consideration for the next Kassel meeting. Thank you for all the feedback we have received.

The surplus generated during the event will once again be donated in the coming days to charitable organizations in Kassel.
