Best guess.
L-R USS Munsee - Saratoga, USS Frank Knox (Gearing class) - Argonaut, USS Pittsburgh - can't tell manufacturer but probably not Neptun..Argonaut maybe (nice paint job).
In June, 1945, Pittsburgh lost the first 26' of her bow in a typhoon near the Mariannas. Munsee helped recover the bow section which was still afloat.
In early July '65, USS Frank Knox ran aground a couple hundred miles off Hong Kong in the South China Sea. Munsee ended up towing her off the reef she was stuck on, later that month.
These were my original guesses, which I didn't post because I couldn't figure the connection between the DD and Pittsburgh?
