L-R USS Baltimore - Hai, USS San Francisco - Hai, USS Aroostook - Argonaut. Three minelayer conversions. The first two had been protected cruisers, the third, Aroostook, a coastal cargo liner. The three of them, CM3, C3 and C5 respectively, were part of the force which mined the North Sea Mine Barrage (Orkneys - Norway) in 1918 (WW1)
