The final volume of N.A.M.Rodger's trilogy on the naval history of Britain has just been published.
The first two, "The Safeguard of the Sea" (1997) and "The Command of the Ocean" (2004) were both excellent. But after 20 years, I was afraid the third would never appear in my lifetime. Fortunately, "The Price of Victory" has just been published and my copy arrived last night.

Now I just hope that Rick Atkinson finishes his trilogy of the American Revolution while I'm still around to read it...
