I usually use white glue (eg Elmers) to fix the piece in place then seal it with Super Glue. The first step allows you to manipulate the broken piece until you have it where you want it.

A well-intentioned but ham-handed friend recently decapitated the foremast/radar assembly from my custom-built and painted SSModels USS Northampton. What's my best bet for gluing it back on? A cyanoacrylate?
