I regret to advise the recent death of Dave Love (Mountford Models).

Dave had been involved in modelling in our scale for, I suppose, some 25 years, producing his own 'Mountford' range, but also working, I recall, with people such as Martin Brown & John Youngerman. In recent time he had collaborated extensively with Clive Newman of CNC models. I believe he made a visit to one of the 'West Coast Meetings' a number of years ago.

Dave was a 'larger than life' person, a regular supporter of 'ship shows' in the Lincoln area.

Unfortunately he was diagnosed with a blood cancer some months ago and he died on 19th July. He was 73.

I don't really want to say more but his death leaves a 'Large Hole' in our hobby.
