Greetings to my fellows of SMSC and the 1250 Scale Message Board. Many of you are aware thatI donated my collection of 2,300 WWII 1250 Warships last Spring. I drove them to the Navy Yard in DC they are now in the curation of the ships because we don't have a beautiful new Museum now but 2026 offers its opening. My collection was designed to present dioramas. But I have learned that I failed to "bulk" up my collection of USN SS"s If any of you could be persuaded to part with USN/SS models at your collection at reasonable prices. Often 15-25 German SS's "Wolf Packs" I never gave it thought 10-20 years ago 5-10 boats and I need to present 15-20 USN boats for dioramas of Atlantic Convoys and also Charlie Lockwood's strategy in deploying his fleet of boats on the lanes of Japanese transports not even being properly protected. I read someone had said that USN subs had cluttered the bottom of the Pacific with the hulks of Japanese transports and also starved the populace of their own homeland. Help me if you can. My hope is that my collection will be on display as dioramas educate people passing through and we hope to have the Education Gallery wearing my name will engage their thoughts and this could happen again due to Mr Xi Jinping choke the nautical ways that ought to be free.
