So, here I am building a model of Pennsylvania and I have an after market upgrade kit for the superstruture. The thing is, the fore tripod legs during a dry fit have a "slimmer" stance than the mainmast. Thus the director top doesn't sit properly on top of the legs in addition to the mainmast now being taller (I suppose I could just trim the legs)

So something that never crossed my mind but now here it is...were these tripod masts perfectly symetrical? I can't find any information on thier specs regarding this. Seems simple that they would be but before I go any further, I'll never know unless I ask!
