I can't identify the maker of this model of the US Mississippi ferry George H Walker that I bought on eBay in 2011. It was represented as a "special model" by a certain manufacture but I doubt that attribution and I don't want to color others' opinions.

The ferry's namesake is the grandfather of G.H.W. Bush (41st President). See https://www.waterwaysjournal.net/2019/02/15/ferry-named-for-man-who-was-also-namesake-for-two-presidents/ . Designed for a railroad crossing of the Mississippi at Baton Rouge she typically made 20 round trips a day that included four passenger trains of up to a dozen cars each. Ibid. Her 1923 maiden voyage down the Ohio and Mississippi from the builder's yard in Pittsburgh initially bypassed Baton Rouge to deliver a couple thousand pounds of steel to New Orleans. Immediately returning to Baton Rouge she remained in service for the next 24 years. Ibid.

The model is 8.45cm long by 2.33cm beam over the paddle guards; so 1250 scale not 1200 (actual vessel 346ft LOA by 91ft).
Wondering if anyone knows anything about the model, particularly its maker.
