Would anyone dare to speculate how rare the South Salem WWII ID / Spotter models actually are?
I am not talking about the copies made by 1200 Models or post war Authticast/Superior, but the South Salems made during the war.
It seems there was some cooperation with Comet/Authenticast at one point during the war.
It also seems that while war ships seem to have survived in some numbers, the merchant ships are less frequently found, maybe because they were not made in the same numbers at combattants...?
Is it also correct that 1200 Models never made a copy of the EC2 Liberty ship, while they did the other merchant ships made by South Salem?
Cheers!
Lars
