I'm a collector of warship models, mostly WWII and interwar-period ships. To me, the "cleaness" of a casting, sharp edges and the like, are important to me. For bigger ships, I almost always find myself looking at the quality of a ship's secondary armament as a benchmark in deciding whether to spend my all-too-small ship purchase money on. How about you folks?
PS - one of the things I most love about my John Youngerman's are the fineness of bulkheads, masts, cranes, and weapon barrels.
