(Note: The 'Rovex' models were issued in the 1970s and were a commercial failure at that time. Hornby considered that the 'Hornby Brand' was stronger than the original Tri-ang Minic Ships and sold the models under that name. Many unsold models were alter dumped on the market which explains why there are so many good ones still around. There is also a FaceBook group dedicated to Tri-ang Minic Ships.)
I did something today I haven't done in years - went trolling through eBay to see what people are putting up these days. A lot of non-rare "rare" models, and lot of paperweights, and prices which are absolutely comical for a given model in question. I did see a couple of interesting models though - not especially good, but they appeared to be metal and the brand name was "Rovex," which I've never before heard of. Has anyone else?
