Now, having started on it I did find a challenge. The hull is cast so that it’s VERY deep. The deep part contains a lot of sprue but the problem here is cutting off the hull that exits below the waterline, which is demarcated. To do that, you’ll need a Dremel or other tool to cut the plastic. And you’ll need to be VERY careful.
After waiting several months I finally received the model of HMS WEYMOUTH. When iI opened it I was surprised to see that the model is complete, except for the guns, which must be added. There’s no challenge here for anyone who can do the most minimal work. Does this mean that we’ll see more like this? I don’t know, but I suspect that the producer might be reacting to complaints that the models are too difficult to build.
