I have read that the Camel was recovered and is on display at the Imperial War Museum. Can any of our British colleagues confirm that?
I think from Uwe Jens Hoppe.
I have one too.
I think it's Neptun LZ100 (L53) , Navis New R-class ( Redoubt ) and the lighter (H5) from UJH as described.
On August 11 1918 Redoubt was towing H5 with a Camel on board, as part of Harwich Force sweep of Heligoland Bight, and LZ-100 was spotted. Lt S.D. Culley ( Canadian!) too off and shot down the Zeppelin.
