I could find no reference to the USCG version in the comprehensive model list, so suspect it is a very good repaint. Nice to have...

Yes, clearly you are right, a Navajo class fleet tug later taken up by the Coast Guard. Perhaps Cherokee as you suggested or Tamaroa (pictured below). I got it some time ago in its present form but as Bannock, Trident Alpha 10067 (metal) and it is so marked on the bottom. I have been unable to find any Coast Guard variant listed anywhere, maybe it's a re-paint, but if so it's a pretty decent one, though the funnel and masts of the CG version should be buff in color. I was hoping maybe someone else knew of the model or had seen others.

It's a Navajo class fleet tug repurposed as a Coastie, for example USS Cherokee. I would have to find the full list of these and go over it to find out what you intend here, so maybe later. Have not idea of maker or material. Happy Holidays!
