Over the years, I have been lucky enough to see all of these airplanes except the F7U Cutlass in flight and launching and landing the RA5C Vigilante is most impressive aboard a carrier.
The E-2 Hawkeye is definitively underscale, and Eric acknowledged that at our meeting I think it’s either 1500 or 1800. Eric said he didn’t know how that happened.
Thanks, Bob.
On the German MünchnerRundbrief someone observed that the 3D printed planes look bigger than 1:1250. I am no expert on airplanes. I have taken 4 metal aircraft from different producers and laid them next to the 3D printed---see my last photo in the attached album. Metal planes on the left, 3D printed on the right.

Eric Goggans, YESTRtoys.com, has printed a sprue of 10 planes that are now displayed on the USS MIDWAY. Below are my photos of the MIDWAY with 10 planes.
The airplane insignia are on the decal sheet of the USS MIDWAY, developed by Stefan Karpinski.
