Hundreds of these ships were built in WW2, and I've added a few to my collection. But what colour (OK color) should they be painted? I can find no definitive answer; the answer is grey (OK gray).

I've assumed US built ships were painted Ocean Gray, but Canadian built ships? Did they use UK Admiralty colours or their own yard mixes?

Does it matter? Well it does to me so any help I can get will be welcomed.
