I have no interest in buying a piece of Alabama but would recommend purchase to anyone with an interest or a connection to the ship.
I'm a Brit and own a piece of teak from HMS Vanguard upon which is mounted a Tri-ang 1/1200 model of the ship. I also own a slab of teak from the quarter deck of HMS Ark Royal, the RN's last fixed wing carrier.
It gives me great pleasure to own pieces of these 'last of their kind' RN ships. I am sure anyone who buys a piece of Alabama will feel the same. Do it! Previous Message
