I live in Mobile, Alabama, only a half-hour drive from the Litton Ingalls shipyard in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Every now and then my wife and I will get out for a weekend drive, and on Saturday we found ourselves at a public park, Point Park, in Pascagoula. The neat thing? It's directly across the river from Ingall's - maybe 100m. Great views! While I was unable to get any angles for good photos, we could clearly see the Zumwalt-class DD Lyndon B. Johnson pier side, just ahead of the San Antonio class LPD Richard McCool, which is currently fitting out. Also could see bow-on an Arleigh Burke in a dry dock. Amazing to be able to get so close!
