as well as crane ships like Your already projected
Seaway Strashnov ( she just had got another color)
This collector inputs for option number 2.
Here's the conundrum, Most manufacturers have a specific specialization, be it cruise ship, warship, ferries etc. I was asked yesterday what future ships were we planning, this created some head scratching. Obviously we are newbies but there is not a specific category we can fall into within the 1250 world of ships that not already taken. We have chosen to do the larger new build cruise ships, the Icon of the seas, Sun Princess etc. because these have not yet been done but these are not too numerous.
We do not know what to make between these builds.
We could do all the smaller new build cruise ships, but I would presume there are other producers who would likely make these. I guess that all earlier cruise ships have been done so our options are shrinking.
So this is where everybody's input is most welcome.
1. Do we do a back catalog of the larger cruise ships, if so are there any that warrant a new version.
2. Should we finish the Lion range and expand on it. We have a similar design range for the Yamato and the Admiral Class heavy cruiser.
3. We could do some carriers with removable flight deck, hangars and a carrier air group/wing.
Or and this is me looking for an original idea!
do could produce a series of ships sectioned down the centre-line, Queen Mary, Hood, Fuso, Warspite, Yamato for example. showing all the decks internal workings and so on. 3D printing makes this possible. I bet nobody's got one of these in their collection.
Please I know it is tempting to say all of the above but I would like to get a general impression as to which types of category we should aim for.
Kind regards
Dave
