My references on the French navy have failed me relative to AQ WDS 001, La Gladiateur. It appears to represent the same ship as the Heller model of that name. It also resembles the Neptune, a museum ship in the Genoa maritime museum (described as a galleon) with 3 full gun decks, and the museum ship Prins Willem., which has a similar style of stern. As a Dutch- or Italian-built ship in an older style, purchased and placed in service by France, it would represent a unique entry in this scale. I definitely want one.
