Getting into 3d printing successfully also requires a time investment to learn new technology before just buying a machine. Learning skills in computer drafting will aid in modifying or building parts. I learned the most from YouTube vids by Paul McWhorter - learning 3d printing for absolute beginners. It will coach you through learning the free version of Fusion 360 and setting up a filament 3d printer. Resin is better for detail but another jump in complexity/equipt.

Does anyone here use 3D printers to make your own 1/1250 or 1/1200 ship models? Any recommendations, suggestions, comments?
