Place: 34127 Kassel, Philipp Scheidemann Haus, Holländische Str. 74
entry fee: 5,- € per Person
We are happy to welcome you to the international collectors’ meeting in Kassel, which is to take place as scheduled on May the 28th. We believe that it’s the personal interaction that makes the collection field so lively and diverse and that the personal exchange between collectors and manufacturers is fundamental for the successful continuation of the hobby.
Following the regrettable but understandable withdrawal of the Schade family we have stepped in to plan this year’s meeting. We send our warmest wishes to Frank Schade and hope that he will recover soon to resume organising the meeting in the years to come. Many exhibitors and visitors have already booked rooms and transport so we kept time and place as they were.
According to the Hotel Schäferberg there is still a small number of rooms available for your stay from May 27th to May 29th. The pre-meeting on the evening of Friday, May 27th is to take place as usual. If you want to take part in the pre-meeting, please send us a message, as we have to provide a list of participants to the hotel.
Should you be interested in selling second-hand models there is the opportunity to rent tables in the hall for 15.-€ each. This fee includes admission for two persons. If you are interested in renting one or more tables, please let us know as soon as possible.
In order to ensure a quick and easy entry procedure, we kindly ask you to pre-register for the meeting via e-mail. A short notice including your name and the number of persons in your group will be enough. Thank you very much!
Given current covid-regulations we are confident that the event can place as scheduled and in compliance with the 3G-rule (vaccinated, tested or recovered) and if masks are worn. However, there may be changes that are not within our control.
An additional element of uncertainty is the movement of refugees from Ukraine.
We will keep you updated on any changes that might take place.
You are cordially invited to forward this invitation to any of your friends that might be interested in attending the meeting!
Finally, we would like to emphasise that our taking over of the event in this year is a provisional measure. We deeply respect the Schade Family’s work throughout the past years and we certainly do not want to usurp the meeting in any way. After all, positive encounter is the spirit of the meeting.
We are looking forward to a positive and successful meeting in Kassel and send you our best regards,
Team Kassel 2022
