Peter Wiedling"
This is very sad news for both our hobby and for me personally. I first met Peter when he was putting up a display at his store in Munich. Ever since then we became close friends. He was a true gentleman from the old school. His wife Lilo was a true delight. Whenever she entered a room she would lite up the room. Now they are once again united together. God bless both of them. RIP my friend. Previous Message On Wednesday, Peter Wiedling passed away. Many of us 1250 collectors have very fond memories of his great business and also of him as a friend, a helper and advisor. I got my first shipment from him in 1965, His customer service was always the best. In 2011, our 1250 collectors group visited Peter and his wife Lilo at his house. They greeted us with a Bavarian brunch, including Weisswurst. So many nice memories. Peter Wiedling was also a regular exhibitor at the Kassel meetings-we will truly miss him this year.
