Yes, MERSEY, SEVERN and HUMBER were built for Brazil, and photos show wood decks. It’s unclear to me if changes were made, as later photos of two of them appear to show bare steel forward of the forward gun mount.

Thanks Paul for the information. Now I can paint my 3 RN monitors.
All RN monitors had steel decks, with the exception of TERROR and EREBUS which had planked quarter decks over the steel.
Can anyone tell me if Royal Navy monitors had wooden or steel decks. Thanks for your help.
