Re: Strangely ...
You're right. It's OKLAHOMA. But in 1941, the differences between the two ships were minimal.
NEPTUN does make an OKLAHOMA but only a later fit NEVADA. Where have you seen an earlier fit NEVADA?
Neptun does a NEVADA circa 1941. If weíre going to get into a specific fit, say a particular cruiser circa July 1945, then no doubt we can find lots of different ships. I think this question is only worth discussing if itís a particular ship at any stage of its life, or only if itís a ship that was completely rebuilt into something very different like the Italian CAVOUR and DULIO Class ships.
As for RYUHO Iím not sure if a model was done in 1200 or 1250, but I know itís been done in other scales.
How about a good version of USS NEVADA in a Pearl Harbor fit or as I have mentioned before, a metal model of the CVL RYUHO in either its long deck or short deck version.
OK... let's focus on actual ships never modeled rather than never-were's... I'm guessing it will be something in the CL to DD range as the largest left un-done commercially.
I was thinking of that one ... (although modelled in 1/6000 scale)
HMS Habbakuk? ;-)
