His father-in-law was turret officer on HMS Hercules (I think
) at Jutland, so his action on Valiant must have gone down well.
The Valiant is actually a Neptun and the Black Swan type is by SpiderNavy, but you got the essentials...well done. Philip lived a long and full life and was a fine naval officer...thanks for playing.
Well - lets say that the 'big one' is HMS Valiant (by Argonaut?). The second is an RN 'Black Swan' or 'Improved Black Swan' acting as HMS Magpie. (Also Argonaut?)
If I'm right - the connection might well be the late Prince Phillip who earned a Mention in Despatches for controlling Valiant's searchlights at the Battle of Matapan, whilst the Magpie was his last command, in the Med Fleet in the early 50s.
Have't had one of these for a while...
What is the connection between these two ships? Name the commonality, the ships, and the models. Note that the smaller is represented by a near class sister. https://i.imgur.com/E3i221Hl.jpg
