I frequently send parcels to Canada and most take 3 months.
It appears that Canadian customs are not clearing them fast enough.
Canada Post are also not using the tracking system and so they can only be tracked as far as being put on a plane at Heathrow.
Annoying for all concerned. Previous Message
This is of course very annoying for all concerned.
However, it's clear that there are other international posting problems that have sweet da*n all to do with Brexit and UK VAT! Previous Message
Hello Dear Collectors,
We wanted to inform you about the latest shipping problems of the US Postal Service.
We have received a letter from DHL stating the following.
We would like to inform you that there are currently considerable delays and unusually long transit times in the shipping of goods-carrying shipments to the USA. These delays affect in particular DHL Paket International Economy as well as Warenpost International - but also all other products, although to a lesser extent.
In recent weeks, our quality monitoring has revealed that the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) appears to be having problems both with tracking and with the speed and processing of shipments. We have discussed these quality issues at all levels and last week received confirmation from a high level manager at the USPS that there are significant backlogs in receiving shipments, especially economy parcels: "We do have a backlog at NJ NDC, which processes all inbound surface parcels [...]. Currently they have a delay of approximately 250,000."
So we ask our American collectors to continue to be patient.
Please also keep in mind that the delivery times stated on eBay are in no way correct!!!!
We can all only hope for better times.
We wish you all a nice day.
Please stay all healthy !!!
Bye Oliver & Martina Maertens
