To post photos you need a hosting service. I use POSTIMAGES, while others using IMGUR. As an example: Go to the IMGUR website by typing IMGUR.com/register into your browser. Scroll down to Create an Account-Imgur and click.

On the Create an Account Page look for “Start by selecting how you're accessing Imgur.” And click on Desktop Website and look for Head to imgur.com/register and click. Create an account name and password of your choosing and hit save.

Now that you have an account, hover your cursor over your name in the upper right corner and click on Images from the drop down choices.

Now you can drag and drop images from your desktop onto this image page and they will be saved for future use.

To post on the 1250 Message board, go onto the Board and type in the message you wish to post just as you always do (name/subject/message).

Next move your cursor above the message, click and hit enter to move the text down a bit. This will put your image above your text when you finally hit post.

Next go back to Imgur and click on the image you want to upload. The screen will change to show your picture on the left and give you a choice of different links to use. Choose BBCode and click on Copy.

Now go back to the 1250 Board and your message. Below the text click on the icon image and you will get Optional Image URL. https:// will already be there. Move your cursor just to the left of it and hit paste The URL for your picture from IMGUR will appear and [img] will be shown before and after the URL you have posted.

POSTIMAGES is simple to use. Try it and experiment. So long as you don't press "Post" at the end, but keep doing "Preview" you can experiment endlessly until you get it right.

Check everything out with preview and then hit post.
