Yes, you are correct about the fuel consumption. I couldn't be bothered to look it up precisely in the wee small hours. The three "Empire" ships completed in 1941-42 were operated by Bowerings who bought the two survivors and operated them as "Regent xxxxx" after WW2.
The third "12" stood for 12 tons fuel burned per day, not range of 12,000sm.
The tanker model looks as though it would be a Len Jordan T8 usually sold as British Commando but Wirral seemed to make up a Shell version as Neocardia. The ships were often called "12, 12, 12" tankers being 12,000 ton, 12 knots and having a range of 12,000 miles. some were finished as Empire ships and Empire Gem sank after being attacked by U66. The liner will be an HB model.
This one should be straightforward except one of the models...connection, ships, and models?
