Jervis was indeed a 'lucky ship' - she fought in 13 major engagements and lost no men killed. By 1944 she was worn out - as was her Captain. (Hill: 'Destroyer Captain' is a good read)
The J Class flotilla leader was HMS Jervis, she also had a later Radar fitted late in the war. So would have more accommodation for additional cores? I think the aft torpedo tubes were refitted. If it is Jervis she saw a lot of action during the war.
