The cruiser or the frigate?
I rarely get these quiz answers correct this one is no different, but here's my guess. I think the Light Cruiser is HMS Penelope and the Destroyer is an Australian N Class Destroyer, possibly Nizam. Not sure of the connection between them but Penny Mordaunt who was UK defence Secretary for 3 months in 2019 was named after HMS Penelope, I'm not sure why.
