Thanks for the kind comments. On the subject of movie ships, having just watched "Sink the Bismark" and "Run Silent, Run Deep" for the umpteenth times, I've noticed a strange similarity between the the SOLENT and the AKIKAZE (Bungo Pete) - no masts and strange (searchlights?) appendages each side of the bridge. Was the same model used in both films? Did they blow it up twice? Was the footage of the AKIKAZE model too good to waste that they invented the mythical SOLENT two years later in the BISMARCK film.
I need to get out more..............

As far as I know. I had to scratch build these ages ago for my wee diorama. Of course I realised later it's not accurate - all the canvas awnings were down when SAN PABLO wnen into action!
Great film BTW - a Greek tragedy.
I'm want to make a Sand Pebbles Diorama, is Navwar the only source for Junks?
