According to my sources the Inabasan Maru (989 tons) was the only Japanese Cargo ship sunk in the Netherlands East Indies during February (February 14th). This loss was reportedly due to Bristol Blenheim bombers of 211 Squadron in the South China Sea, north of Sumatra, Dutch East Indies. It is noted that several cargo ships were damaged in the Lima Maru Trom. Some of this damage may be been from the HMS Li Wo. With the air attacks taking place im sure this was a very confusing action.
