1/11d surely for a pocket battleship? The 5 U-boats were 1/6d! I remember showing the tiny U-boats to my mum. When she discovered I had spent 1/11d (9.5p) on them, she looked at me in a similar way to Jack's mum when he showed her the magic beans. But.....the Eagle models really were MAGIC!
Don't forget, the H class destroyer kit came with alternative parts for the I class and, I think one other (F?). Neither kits nor Don't book to hand as I write. I completed one of my 'H' to an I class.
My first Graf Spee purchase had an impact on my life that I could not possibly have envisaged when I parted with my 1/3d!
