The finished model of BROOKLYN includes items I added: the pole upper mainmast and boom, pole upper foremast, small crane at the bow, and gun barrels on the aft superstructure. This model was easily finished, and should be no problem for someone with only minimal skills.
In the next photo you can see the WTJ model with the Navis model. Unfortunately there has never been an upgraded N version of the BROOKLYN, and this model is over 50 years old. The WTJ is definitely superior in detail, and the tumblehome is much more accurate than on the old Navis model.
Next is the JEANNE D'ARC. This makes up into a very fine model. Added parts by me are the pole masts, the boat davits, small anti-boat guns and a few other minor details.
By comparison here is the WTJ model with the Hai model.
Draw your own conclusions. I think that the WTJ model is a much sharper model, with no casting defects.
