Jim - I think you are right about being post-war - I have on file a few B&W stills of a K Class blimp landing on USS MINDORO in the Atlantic. Official USN photos one of which is dated January 1950. Someone else told me that the blimps were used then during ASW trials. Maybe the stills and the film were taken at similar time.
Again I cannot remember who, but a US modeller who has an extensive USN collection, sent me photos of his collection which includes a CVE with a K class blimp.
I have the models required, just need the time to put altogether in a mini diorama. Thus your colour footage is of great help in getting some details correct. The large white numbers are a challenge!!

Although this film is labelled as being during WWII, I don't think it is... I think it's 1947 or sometime thereafter. Putting aside the prominent deck markings, at about 1:02, one can see the insignia on the underside of the blimp well enough to see a red-stripe in it. I think that feature first appeared in 1947.
