I have white tailed deer here like Australia had rabbits. Zanze has always shown aggression to them on the other side of the fence like he does to most any other creature that is not equine. But the other day I was turning him out into an area that just has 5ft fenncing and I saw that a deer was in there just after I let him go. I thought, "This will be interesting..." But surprisingly, Zanze saw her and was interested but didn't immediately charge her (doe) as I expected. He took his time going over to her and gave her time to clear the fence. So maybe he has mellowed just a tad.
