I have been making halters for our zebras too. I find that a lot of horse halters do not even fit horses correctly! The fact is, there are so many different head shapes and sizes, that it is difficult to buy "off the rack" tack and equipment. I have someone who custom makes my bridles for me to make sure they fit. Buying a harness is like that too. For Charlie, there are no two peices of his harness from the same set. I had to go to a harness maker to make sure the whole thing fit correctly, then I had to add tug extentions because the breast strap fit, but the tugs were too short.
