thanks so much Sammi Jo, It is not hard like bone. And is has a soft center thats why I thought it was absess but there is no pus or yellowish fluid just bloody and raw. The tissue is gray. And it keeps growing. It started the size of eraser end and now the size of a gum ball. He rubs it and it just looks more angry, (grayish bloody) I only have one vet here that will look at my zebra and he did it standing 8 feet away. The big chicken. Ziqqy is very well mannered, I even had a muzzle on him like he requested. Said that it might be a sarcoid or had something in it. Duh, thats what I told him. I will go out in the morning and see if it moves away from the bone. Do you have more pics of eartooth. Maybe it is a tooth coming through. Will get pics of it tomorrow to show you. Thanks again. I learned something new today. Didn't know what the protruding tooth thing was called. Very Cool I really appreciate it.
