Ok, got lots of questions. How far along was this guy when you started working with him? Had he actually been saddled and/ or ridden? Also, the saddle you are using, does it have quarterhorse bars? Semi? You see what I am curious about because you know we are all heard the myth that you can't put a saddle on a zebra, etc. Will you be trying the mullen mouth snaffle on him, or does he seem ok with regular? I totally agree that the bit arrangment he came with was probably causing more problems than it solved.
Please share. Inquiring minds want to know!
