That's an interesting question. Should we base it on their usual life span? I heard of horse mares having babies well into their twenties, but I always thought it was asking for trouble to let that go too far. Interestingly, I don't remember this coming up in any of my zoology courses. And I had no idea camels had such longevity, much less have babies so late. Are we going to look at turtles and other long lived creatures? And don't forget Tribbles-Weren't they born pregnant? LOL
