Loren, animals in zoos have little to do with an individual successfully raising an exotic in their back yard. I know you have had your girls for many years and have stated they are not 'hands on' so to speak, and wonder why they are not more accessable. BTW I don't recall anyone accusing your zebras of being abused. Another topic to consider might be: if you purchase a zebra from a large breeder how could you possibly know if it was a result of inbreeding.
