I used Mazuri zebra pellets for a long time but the price went crazy ($23.00 a bag) It was 17 % protein. Now use legends 10, crimped oats and add a little equine senior in the winter to keep them fat and warm. Hay is Orchard grass or Orchard grass mix. I also give them a bale of straw now and then when there paddock is bare (keeps the from eating the fence or barn). They seem to love it more than hay. No hay belly, coats good.
