Hi Susan, I wanted to chime in on the barn buddy for your girl. Whatever you decide to have come live with you, put them in an adjoining pen. Not directly in with her. Ideally they should share a fence line so she can see them and feel close companionship but not be in danger from them or have competition for food. Something with a calm accepting temperment would be best. Bear in mind that LuLu will learn from them so we want her companion to teach good traits. If you can handle the cmpanion and LuLu watch this, having feet picked up, having a blanket on, etc. then she will think it is no big deal.
